Louisiana Chi makes the homepage for The Record

SAE's 4th Annual Chili Bowl
Louisiana Chi embarked on it's annual Chili Bowl March 27, 2010. This year's event was held in the Rienzi Plaza Parking Lot in front of Norm's Daiquiris. Over $5,000 was raised and donated to the Lafourche Parish Relay for Life on April 9, 2010.

Province Theta Convention a Success!
Louisana Chi attended the 2010 Province Theta Leadership School and returned with incredible success. The Chapter won the following awards and were elected to following offices:

SAE's Me Tarzan, You Jane
SAE held its first social of the Spring semester on February 20. The social was a huge success as the masses came dressed in their best "jungle fever" attire.

December to Remember
Several brothers participated in the Second Annual December to Remember at The Children's Hospital in New Orleans. Over the course of the Fall semester, Christmas gifts were collected to distribute to the children at the hospital. The event was a success as we distributed gifts to children on two floors of the hospital.

Twelve named to "Who's Who"
Twelve brothers were named to the 2010 edition of “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.” They included: Stefan Wright; David Dugas; Kal Savoie; Philip Dupre; Blaine Adams; Tyler Koster; Cody Blanchard; Lee LeBouef; Seth Candies; Ryan Donegan; Holden Ledet; and Gaetano Ruggiero III.

Fourth Annual Stay-Up-Athon
Brothers held their annual Stay-Up-Athon for the fourth consecutive year. The eventful evening had events such as volleyball, basketball, chicago and Xbox/Playstation tournaments. The Children's Hospital sent a local patient to accept the check of $6,000 which was raised for The Children's Miracle Network.

Race for the Cure
Brothers particpated in the annual Susan G. Komen Bayou Region Race for the Cure. The race is a fundraising event held to help support breast cancer.

Louisiana Chi places first in Intramural Volleyball for the 2009 season. Seen here, bothers dress in costumes to play in one of the games.

Active vs. Pledge Flag Football
Our first pledge vs active flag football game was held in culmination with other events. Food, music and great brotherhood were amongst the first event of its type Louisiana Chi held. Overall it was a great success.
September 26, 2010 - Homecoming
Victory
Blaine Adams is crowned 2009 Homecoming King. His queen was Whitney Dupuy of Delta Zeta Sorority.
Alumni help sponsor and attend Louisiana Chi's annual Chapter Homecoming Tailgate.
Louisiana Chi wins best float for the 2009 Homecoming Parade. This year's float was built entirely by the chapter and sported the theme "SAE's Jailhouse Rock."

Three selected for Homecoming Court
Blaine Adams, Ben Jones and David Dugas were selected by the Nicholls Student body as three of the six members of the 2009 Homecoming Court.

SAE World Series
Louisiana Chi's Nicholls A Team won 3rd place and the Best Dressed Award.
Louisiana Chi's Nicholls B team proudly display their content with winning last place.
The chapter as a whole won the World Series Spirit Award.
